We offer an unbeatable personal service – all our conveyancers are available by phone 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. You’ll also receive an online case tracking login, so you can stay updated with the progress of your transaction 24/7.
A sale transaction in Southwark can take anywhere between 4 weeks – 3 months, dependent on a number of different factors. Our conveyancers work very quickly and have some of the fastest timelines in the country. Certain factors can slow transactions down, for example the speed of the other property lawyer or the mortgage lender. Our highly-experienced solicitors are focused on completing the legal process as quickly as possible. For more information, please see our “how long does conveyancing take” page.
Southwark (/ˈsʌðərk/ SUDH-ərk)[1] is a district of Central London and part of the London Borough of Southwark. Situated 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Charing Cross, it forms one of the oldest parts of London and fronts the River Thames to the north. It historically formed an ancient borough in the county of Surrey, made up of a number of parishes, which increasingly came under the influence and jurisdiction of the City of London. As an inner district of London, Southwark experienced rapid depopulation during the late-19th and early-20th centuries. It is now at an advanced stage of regeneration and is the county town of Greater London which is the location of the City Hall offices of the Greater London Authority. Southwark had a population of 30,119 in 2011.
Surrey is a county in the south east of England. It shares borders with Kent to the east, East Sussex to the south-east, West Sussex to the south, Hampshire to the west and south-west, and Berkshire to the north-west. The county town is Guildford.[2] Surrey County Council sits extraterritorially at Kingston upon Thames, administered as part of Greater London since 1965. With a resident population of 1.1 million, Surrey is the most densely populated and third most populous county in the South East region, after Kent and Hampshire.
